You can set a rhythm from a range of different tempos, either by entering a numerical value or pressing a set of keyboard shortcuts. Alternatively, you can use the TAP feature to tap out a beat and have the metronome determine the correct tempo. There's also an option to play different tempos to help you train your ear to identify them quickly. The metronome is display is clear and easy to read, although it's not exactly eye-catching. It consists of a simple grey panel with a large digital readout and a set of buttons. It can take some time to master the different features of this app.
A handy substitute
